How it Works

How do I get my item back?

After depositing your items in one of our bins you have 30 days to retrieve the item once it has been logged* by our staff. You have the choice to have your item delivered to UK or Europe or you can choose the Collect on Return service. A fee is charged for both services.

For certain items only the Collect on Return option will be offered.

  1. Click 'Retrieve My Item' and enter your Post & Fly reference number from your ticket
  2. Select your preferred Delivery or Collect on Return option
  3. Enter your address details
  4. Enter your credit card details
  5. Have your item returned to you by courier
    Or pick up your item from the Left Luggage location at the airport your item was deposited

* We aim to log items within 2 days of deposit but during busy times the time period may be longer

Please note there is no delivery or collect on return option available for any perishable items. Any perishable goods that are deposited in Post and Fly bins, will be immediately disposed of as per Health and Safety procedures. Perishable items are those requiring refrigeration including but not limited to foodstuffs and flowers.

How long will it take to be delivered?

After you have made your booking your item will be collected for delivery within approx 2 days. Please allow an extra day for items booked on Friday/Saturday/Sunday as no collections are made over the weekend.

Estimated transit times vary depending on destination.

For UK deliveries please allow 2 days transit time.
For European deliveries please allow 3-5 days.

We do not offer delivery outside of Europe

Certain items will be available for Collect on Return ONLY

We cannot deliver Dangerous Goods to Scotland, Northern Ireland, UK Offshore Islands or the Republic of Ireland. We apologise for the inconvenience caused

Since 1st July 2021, all shipments sent to EU countries, including personal effects, are subject to customs clearance and VAT, irrespective of their value. Please also be aware that we cannot accept foodstuffs and alcohol to any EU country.

What is Post & Fly?
Our Non-Permitted Item Return Service

Post & Fly is a service offered to customers who are required to deposit non-permitted or prohibited items at Security control due to airport security regulations.

No longer do you need to dispose of your item, using Post & Fly you can have your item delivered to UK or Europe. We also offer a Collect on Return service for your convenience.

  1. Instead of surrendering your non-permitted item in the waste bin at security control deposit your item in Post & Fly Collect bin
  2. Put your non-permitted / prohibited item in an envelope
  3. Visit PostandFly.com and click orange 'Retrieve my Item' button
  4. Enter your reference number and personal details and choose your preferred service to be reunited with your item
